FR4 Epoxy Tube
FR4 fiberglass board is a high-strength glass fiber reinforced epoxy laminate widely used for electrical insulation and industrial applications. It offers excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and electrical insulation, making it ideal for PCBs, electrical components, and custom CNC machined parts.
Key Features:
-
Excellent electrical insulation performance
-
High mechanical strength and rigidity
-
Good heat resistance and dimensional stability
-
Low water absorption
-
Suitable for CNC machining and custom parts
FR4 Epoxy Tube is made by impregnating fiberglass cloth with epoxy resin, heating it to form a prepreg, rolling it into a rod shape, and finally placing it into molds of different diameters for curing under high temperature and pressure to form a rigid laminated rod. It is commonly used in mechanical and electrical applications and has good moisture resistance.

The main differences between FR4, G10, and G11 materials lie in their performance characteristics, application areas, and prices:
1. Performance Characteristics: FR4 features high temperature resistance, insulation, dielectric properties, flame retardancy, moisture resistance, and good toughness, making it suitable for products requiring high-performance electronic insulation. G10 has good heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200℃, and has high mechanical strength, allowing it to withstand significant forces. G11 is the best performing of the three, exhibiting high thermal stress, a heat resistance of 160-180 degrees Celsius, and low water absorption, almost zero.
2. Application Areas: FR4 is widely used in electronic equipment, such as FPC reinforcing boards and PCB drilling pads. G10 is commonly used in the manufacture of high-voltage electronic components, optical devices, and semiconductor devices. G11 is the top choice for high-voltage switchgear, high-end electrical appliances, and electronic products.
3.Price: G11 is slightly more expensive than FR4 and G10.
